Come on people. Sheesh.
Got an email from LetsTalk saying that they're shipping out the phones on Tuesday (Day 28) which means with overnight delivery we get them on Wednesday (Day 29).
Time to pour over the fine-print of their agreement. I sure hope they're not trying to be sneaky by taking their sweet time getting our replacement phones back to us...
I spoke with a T-Mobile Corporate store rep and she mentioned that we rally should get credit for the number of days we've been without the phone. Important thing to remember is that you have to do this with both the carrier and the online store.
Any good business with good business practices should indeed credit the days when the phone is out of the users' hands. We shall see..
I'll call LetsTalk and T-Mobile tomorrow and post results of my conversation with them here.
During the weekend I stopped by a store and spoke with a rep who confirmed that there are problems with the MDA's reception and slow registration. She mentioned that the SDA does not exhibit the same behaviour, so if you want a Windows Mobile 5.0 phone that actually looks (and probably functions more like) a real phone, the SDA may be the way to go.
