"Love is in the air..." (from the LoveBoat)

Remember the optomistic timeline I posted? Well, hell hasn't frozen over, reality kicked in and here I am four days (and counting) without a phone and paying for service that I can't use and couldn't use even when I had the phone...

OLD TIMELINE:
TUE - send back
WED - in transit
THUR - delivered and new phone shipped back
FRI - delivery to me

NEW TIMELINE:
TUE - send back
WED - in transit
THUR - delivered according to UPS
FRI - twiddling my thumbs
SAT - twiddling my thumbs
SUN - twiddling my thumbs
MON - they ship back
TUE - in transit (see below)
WED - delivery

So I called in today asking about the status of the exchange. With the weekend coming, it's another 2 days deducted from my 30 day trial period. Apparently LetsTalk is still processing it and the lady said it'll most likely ship out Monday and I'll get them on Wednesday. Wait! That's 2-day return shipping. The previous lady told me it was an overnight return-ship.

I ask her to speak with the supervisor and she returns back saying that they will ship overnight back to me. That's better. Every day counts - the clock is ticking...

So now you're up to date. It's Friday 6/2, I have no phone, am continuing to pay for service that I can't use and when the phones get back, I'll be back on the phone with T-Mobile. Is there a lesson learned here? Perhaps. But I'll wait until the 30 days is up before I declare it here.
