SideKick 3 (III) Coming Out

Well, it looks like the FCC has given its approval for the new Danger SideKick 3. It'll most likely be sold through T-Mobile and will be built by Sharp.

Danger has also recently joined the MSN Mobile Developer Program which probably means you'll most likely see apps like MSN Messenger coming to a HipTop display in the near future.

What will it look like? Pretty much the same as always.

I'm giving this comment from my sidekick 3 right now. Its great but my only complaint is that it doesn't have video. Other than that its great. It is also significantly smaller than the sidekick 2 and the original sidekick. I give it a 9 out of 10 only because it doesn't have video.

yea i got the sidekicK 3 as w3ll. and its good but believe me if u have big Hands it gets annoying as hell beause of the sk3's siZe. and it is very compact. and you can even listen to mp3 songs while ur talking to ppL and they Can hear it too!!!! tmobile charges for thE songs but u can get them 4 free if you hAve limewire or any type of downloadinG Prigram. you Can click and drag the songs to ur sidekick from the computer with the included usb cable thaT comes with the sk3!!! I just got the new kick3 today. Its pretty much the same. Just better. The web is a lot faster too. The only thing that sucks is that you don't get your old ringtones and games sent back to you like you would if you traded old sk2s. It also has less selection in ringtones and games. But the tones last a little longer. Picture tranfer isn't available yet either. I give it an 8

Yea I jst got my sidekick3 and I've got 2 say that I'm a little dissapointed, the fact that it is not video capable nor mms compatible is a real drag. Does anyone know of any good or at least reliable software dwnld sites for it??

I've had the side kick for a month or so now. Its a nice device, but it does lack some features(as stated above). But there is a way that you can change the backgrounds. The best site for this that I've seen so far is http://www.sk3themes.com. Also, there are many hidden feature(including a hidden game) that make it pretty interesting. Have you guys found the HIDDEN GAME yet?

Well....I did. So basically you just have to go to the main menu screen then push the three-line button on the upper left hand corner. Go to settings, then scroll down to "about sidekick 3" and push:
three-line+shift+8
TaDa!

I got my sk3 in december and so far we've been inseperable since. its so compact and handy. Great for quick internet searching or texting. Its perfection in a phone.

Got my SK3 for graduation this year and I gotta say, its hella fun. No video is kind of a bummer but everything else about it is great.

The only thing I would have added is the ability to use your own mp3s as ringtones, but that's a vey small complaint.

I'm on muh sidekick 3 too I got a fiew tricks for u so . . .

When you are on the internet and you want full screen web browsing just press the menu key + shift + t do the same thing to get back to the regular screen

If you hold the menu button and move the trackball it moves faster

If you press the circle and the arrow button at the same time you activate the music player so you can listen and shuffle your music

oh wanna watch videos on the sidekick ay? well therez a application you can download off http://www.skdr.net to get a video app yet first you need the dev or develop kit from danger.com from your computer and then add it threw usb to yo sk3, yet I havnt had enofe time to get it on 2 my sk3 cuz it takes along time, hope this helpz

Iv had my s3 since January and i think is cool. Could be better. Wish it had video!(like erone els in the world...) But everything else is good. i dont understand why people complainin about the camera(could a regular little flip phone get a sidekick3 camera result? hell na!)

I like the phone overall and would recommend it, except the quality of pictures that you can take with the camera leaves a lot to be desired. I had a much cheaper phone before this one, and it could take better pics, even without a flash. If photos are your thing, get a blackberry (no camera) and a digital camera for the photo taking.
