OK, let them know what's going on! After all, not every carrier is perfect. In fact, they are far from perfect with their 2-year contracts (T-Mobile is the lone carrier offering 1-year contracts), spotty reception, tricky rates/plans (have you seen Cingular's offering lately?), and of course, MAJOR issues with a certain phone (ahem - MDA - ahem) taking forever to register onto the network! Any many have hinted that T-Mobile was aware of these issues prior to the launch of the MDA. The 8125 doesn't appear to have these issues... So let T-Mobile know what's going on!

Be sure to tell them the following:

1. Phone make/model/mfg (MDA)
2. Sim chip specs
3. Firmware version (start -> settings -> system tab -> device information / version / hardware / identity)
4. Issue(s). Be sure to identify either or/both the signal reception problem and network registration problem (make sure you tell them how long it takes to register!)
