OK. Why are we putting this device on this site?
It IS a cool device, though lacking in some areas, still maintains its edge over the other handhelds in certain respects.
This is perhaps the fastest push email device on the market. However, not having Wi-Fi, digital camera (not even VGA!), no expandable memory slot, voice dialing are a few of its shortcomings.
Still, if you need email quickly and your thumb is up to the task, this is the device for you!
Having demo'd the Blackberry 8700g at the local T-Mobile store, the sales rep showed me Google Maps using GPS (oh yeah, the MDA doesn't have built-in GPS :( and this is perhaps the most compelling app aside from email on any of these devices!)
Keep watching RIM's developments... This should be interesting in the coming months.
